JAMMU:The
principal opposition party PDP Monday, alleged the government that it was
protecting ex-minister and MLA, Rajouri, Shabir Khan so that he can destroy the
evidences against himself in the moslestation case registered in the Police
Station, Shahid Gunj, Srinagar.
PDP president Mehbooba Mufti
after disrupting Governors address in the Assembly hall, told reporters
expressed his dismay over not arresting Khan even after an FIR is lodged
against him.
“The
government is protecting Shabir Khan,” Mehooba said. She alleged that the
Government wants to destroy the evidence against Khan and that is the reason
why he is not arrested.
“The
government is out to protect the ex-minister, otherwise how is it possible that
he can’t be arrested,” she said.
Mehbooba,
along with her party legislatures during the Governors address also accused
that Khan is avoiding is arrest only because he is being “Shielded” by the
government.
