Srinagar: Even after the present wave of snow and rain
gets over, fresh Western Disturbance (WD) will again hit the Jammu and Kashmir
region from March 15.
A Met department spokesman said that moderate to heavy rain or snow would occur at most places over Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
Very heavy rain or snow may occur at one or two places in the state during next 24 hours, he warned.
There would be decrease in precipitation during the subsequent two days, the spokesman said.
He said a fresh WD is approaching the region which could affect the state from March 15.
Both maximum and minimum temperatures remained below normal in the Kashmir valley.
