Jammu: Suspected militants this morning attacked an army camp at Janglote area of
Kathua district.
One person identified as Jeet Ram has been killed in the encounter while the
injured include Karamjeet Singh son of Prem Nath; Gurpreer Singh son of Satam
Singh; Sahib Singh son of Santokh Singh of Guraspur Punjab.
The militants, reports said, opened fire at Dayalachak on the Jammu-Kathua highway early on Friday.
The militants then hijacked a vehicle holding the driver hostage and drove towards the international border. The vehicle has since been intercepted by the police and an encounter is on.
