Srinagar: The recent killing of a
Kashmiri medico at Libya has triggered widespread anger and resentment across
valley with the Pro-Freedom camp Sunday stating that the people of
Kashmir are ‘unsafe’ across the world.
According to the reports received by KNS, the Chahrum of
Dr Irfan Ali- a doctor killed in Libya in the recent past- was observed here
with the people offering congregational prayers for the departed soul at his
ancestral house.
The reports informed further that the senior Huriyat
leader Aga Syed Hassan while addressing the people who visited Dr Irfan’s
house on Sunday, stated that the killing was the most brutal act and that
the same must be probed thoroughly. He stated further that the people of
Kashmir are unsafe in every part of the globe at present. “It is GOI that has
deputed Dr Irfan in Libya. His killing must be investigated so that culprits
could be brought to book.” Aga stated further that if such incidents are
repeated in future the day is not far that valley’s talented lot would be
scared in moving out of their homes. (KNS)
