Kuala Lumpur: The discovery that two of the
passengers on the missing Malaysia Airlines flight were travelling on stolen
passports has prompted authorities to probe the possibility of foul play, while
a multinational effort launched to trace the aircraft made no headway till late
Sunday evening.
The MH370 Malaysia Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, with more than 150 Chinese and five
Indians aboard, went missing over South China Sea on Saturday.
A multinational rescue effort has yet to stumble upon any
wreckage and other than an oil slick, there is no indication plane had crashed.
Reuters reported that officials investigating the disappearance of the Malaysian airliner were narrowing the focus of their inquiries on the possibility that it disintegrated in mid-flight. (Agencies)
